10th September 2021
Top of mind for us at Cassell & Co is the mental wellbeing of our community, clients, family and friends. Lockdown, and the subsequent repercussions, can be brutal on our mental health.
Self Care
This weekend, be kind to yourself, stay safe and indulge in some creative time.
The University of Technology has posted its top 10 tips to help with the lockdown blues. It includes some of our favourites, including busting a move in your lounge room and staying connected to family and friends.
If you are living alone and not loving the seclusion, please reach out to a family or friend for companionship. A single bubble buddy is one person you can socialise with at your place of residence and:
- can only be 1 person (and their dependent children, if there are no alternative care arrangements)
- can visit you on more than 1 occasion
- can accompany you in undertaking exercise
- is not a nominated visitor for another person
If you live in an area of concern, your bubble buddy must live within a 5km radius and you must register them here.
More than sourdough
At the risk of sounding cliched, it could be a good time to finally try that hobby. Step away from the sourdough starter and maybe pick up a paintbrush? Or even better – your cocktail mixologist tools! Class Bento has put together a list of 17 classes you can do indoors. It includes a wide variety of ideas from modern calligraphy to live streaming punch needle embroidery (who’d have thought!)
Care is close at hand
